Resurrection Christian School’s 4-0 start is now officially 3-1 after the Cougars had to forfeit their season-opening victory over Denver Christian. A player on the team was attending a school out of the Thompson School District that didn’t offer football, creating a mix up with residency.
Coach Rich Yonker said the player is now enrolled at Rez, and the school is in the process of appealing the ruling. The No. 5-ranked Cougars face No. 6 Lyons on the road Friday night.
