Thompson Valley freshman Eryn Eddy wins her first state title, posting an All-America consideration time of 51.48. That breaks the city record held by Michelle Bird and was just .15 off the 4A state record.
Teammate Marina Fonseca was fourth in 53.96, with Sydnee King 15th. Big move for the Eagles in the team race, now leading (unofficially) 179-138 over Evergreen.
